AutoStore Multi-Temperature Solution™
The Multi-Temperature Solution enables multiple temperature zones within a single AutoStore cube. It is specifically designed for frozen and chilled environments, with a temperature range from -25°C in the frozen section to +6°C in the cooled areas. To improve working conditions for operators, frozen product picking is done at the Ports in the chilled area, avoiding the need to pick items in extreme frozen temperatures. This solution enhances speed and efficiency in managing frozen inventory. The Multi-Temperature Solution will be available for order starting in Q1 2025.
Expanded 18-Level Grid for new installations
The vertical reach of the AutoStore Grid has been expanded, increasing its height from 16 to 18 levels with 330 mm bins and from 24 to 26 levels with 220 mm bins. This enhancement boosts storage density by up to 12.5%. By adding two more levels, fulfillment centers can reduce Grid floor space by up to 11% without compromising accuracy, flexibility, or modularity. This feature is now available for all customers installing new Grid systems.
Motorized Service Vehicle
This safety tool offers a more convenient method for maneuvering on top of the Grid during routine maintenance tasks, enhancing system reliability for large customers while prioritizing worker safety. The Motorized Service Vehicle will be available for order starting in Q1 2025.
Software Updates
Cube Control Software Updates
AutoStore has upgraded its cube control software, enabling super users to proactively manage issues during breaks or off-hours, transforming unplanned stops into planned interventions. Furthermore, the Unify Analytics™ platform has been enhanced to offer even more detailed system oversight.
Virtual Buffers for Large Systems
This feature is proving to significantly increase performance by up to 6% in Very Large Systems (VLS) with limited buffer cells, streamlining operations for larger setups.
Unify Analytics™ Platform
With support for ‘Actions Needed,’ the platform now offers comprehensive visibility across multiple AutoStore systems, providing real-time insights for operational teams.
