The Software Solution Consultant acts as the technical and functional bridge between customers, Sales, Product Management, and Software Engineering. In this position you are responsible for translating customer requirements into scalable, standardized software solutions that align with Syncore’s product strategy, architecture principles, and technological roadmap. The position contributes to both customer success and product innovation by identifying opportunities to enhance and standardize software solutions across the business.

In the role of Software Solution Consultant, you will report to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), and your base location will be our office in Offenau.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Analyzing customer requirements and business processes and translating them into functional and technical solution concepts;
  • Advising customers on best practices, standard software solutions, and optimization opportunities along their business processes;
  • Supporting Sales through workshops, software demonstrations, solution presentations, and technical customer consulting;
  • Identifying gaps between customer requirements and standard product functions and defining suitable solution approaches;
  • Creating specifications, test plans, and acceptance criteria, as well as supporting customer acceptance processes;
  • Supporting the development of the software strategy, roadmap planning, and portfolio standardization;
  • Conceptually developing standardized software modules in close collaboration with Solution Design and Software Development;
  • Evaluating new technologies, market trends, strategic partnerships, and integration opportunities to support the further development of our product and solution portfolio;
  • Building and sharing expertise in software architectures, technologies, and industry solutions within the organization;
  • Ensuring compliance with quality, data protection, and cybersecurity standards.

Your profile

  • Completed degree in computer science, business informatics, engineering, business administration, or a comparable field, with a focus on logistics, automation, or supply chain management;
  • Several years of professional experience in software sales, consulting for complex software and logistics products, or product management for complex software solutions;
  • Good knowledge of logistics processes and workflows, preferably in intralogistics;
  • Experience in analyzing and specifying customer requirements as well as designing solution and software concepts;
  • Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work, combined with strong communication and presentation skills;
  • Excellent communication skills in German and good English skills;
  • Willingness to travel within Europe.
