Warehouse Control
System & Software
LogiCS is an advanced Warehouse Control System that syncs seamlessly with your WMS or ERP and keeps every automated process aligned in one intelligent flow. It orchestrates and connects warehouse activities end to end, ensuring efficient execution, accurate handling, and reliable performance across the operation. Built for flexibility, LogiCS integrates with a wide range of ERP and WMS platforms using a standard JSON interface, giving you real time control and a warehouse that stays in sync today and scales with you tomorrow.
Tailor-made software solutions
We don’t just deliver physical automation. We also provide the software layer that keeps your warehouse performing as one synchronized operation.
LogiCS connects your ERP to the shopfloor and translates planning into real time execution via PLC control. From AMRs and AutoStore to cranes, conveyors, goods to person stations, pick robots and more, LogiCS coordinates every subsystem into one intelligent flow. With LogiCS UI, warehouse teams get a clear and intuitive interface that helps them work confidently, act faster, and get the most out of every automated process.
LogiCS WCS
Our in house WCS is built on the Microsoft technology stack and designed with a modular architecture that scales from controlling a single subsystem to orchestrating multiple connected processes across one synchronized operation. LogiCS brings together deep engineering heritage from stacker crane development and decades of hands on system integration, with more than 25 years of experience embedded in the platform.
Cloud enabled by design, LogiCS can be deployed flexibly using virtual machines, so it runs where it fits best for your IT strategy and operational requirements.
LogiCS interfaces and dashboards
Data is the key to understanding and steering your operation. Not only the orders that need to be fulfilled, but also the KPIs that reveal how your system is performing, including throughput, utilisation, alerts, and overall system status. With LogiCS interfaces, dashboards and reporting, those insights are always within reach.
LogiCS connects to your ERP or WMS through a standard JSON interface that follows REST principles. It is flexible by design, carrying the exact data and interactions required to run your desired warehouse processes. The connection is typically bidirectional, enabling confirmations, updates, and real time feedback on host orders so you stay in control from planning to execution.
With LogiCS reports and dashboards, you can see at a glance what is happening, what is trending, and when action is needed.
Functionalities - Core WCS processes
Location management
Assignment of fast movers to quick-access locations, slow movers to less accessible locations while considering blocked or pre-buffer locations.
Transport management
Creation and management of individual transport tasks, including prioritization, correction and cancellation options.
Error correction
Alerts and guidance during manual interventions and corrections to resolve error situation and continue the original transport paths.
Exception handling
Manual creation of tasks to facilitate a flexible semi-automatic exception handling process within desired subsystem (control service.)
Functionalities - Optional basic WMS functionalities
Order management
Within this module orders are created, processed, prioritized and cancelled. Real-time tracking always facilitates insight into the actual status.
Order-pick management
Next to clear instructions on screen, a pick and/or put to light solution for further guidance of the operator.
Stock management
Outbound parameters like FIFO, LIFO or empty location facilitate an effective operation for any situation.
Inventory management
Warehouse content and additional parameters like i.e. ABC, zones, cross-docking and stacking restrictions are managed within this module.
Order
handling
All flows such as infeed, outfeed, picking, counting tasks within a subsystem as well as between subsystems are managed within this module.
Control services
The LogiCS control services translate the specific tasks to the correct equipment controller and translates the feedback back to the core WCS layer and database.
-
AutoStore service:
This service interacts with the AutoStore controller ensuring an optimal and effective AutoStore operation by smart preparation of orders. -
AMR service:
The Autonomous Mobile Robot Management System is provided with transport tasks by this service, facilitating an efficient AMR operation. -
Conveyor service:
The conveyor PLC is provided with tasks to ensure a smooth and proper transportation of units from decision point to decision point. In addition, i.e. scan and weight information is exchanged, stored and used in the decision making. -
Robot service:
The robot service controls the pick robot at a workstation with pick and put tasks and facilitates the handling of unsuccessful robotic picks.
-
4-Way Shuttle service:
Communicates with the system and provides the correct transport tasks to ensure an effective shuttle operation per level. -
Vertical Conveyor service (lift):
This service provides the 3D function to the 2D Shuttle solution and orchestrates the level changes for both pallets as well as shuttles. -
Crane service:
The Crane Traffic Controller service sends pick and deposit commands to the crane PLC. Anti-collision functionality ensures safe operation of aisle switching cranes. -
Peripheral services:
Pick/Put to light Pallet stackers Box folding machines Printers Weighing
