Service within Syncore
The Service department is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, upgrading, and optimizing automated intralogistics and warehouse automation systems across Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, and other European countries.
The department plays a key role in ensuring the continuity, reliability, and performance of customer installations. Our service activities cover a wide range of technologies, including AutoStore systems, Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), pallet shuttle systems, conveyors, lifts, and Warehouse Control Systems (WCS). By providing preventive maintenance, corrective interventions, technical support, and system improvements, the Service Operations team helps customers maximize system availability and operational efficiency.
As a Service Coordinator Planning, you are responsible to plan and coordinate our service and maintenance assignments across Germany, we are looking for a structured and communicative individual. In this central coordinating role, you will ensure smooth collaboration between customers, service technicians and internal specialist departments.
In this role, you will report to the Manager Service South. Your base location will be our office in Offenau.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Planning, scheduling and organising service and maintenance assignments at customer sites throughout Germany, as well as coordinating, scheduling and renting out loan robots;
- Acting as the central point of contact for customers, service technicians and internal specialist departments on all matters relating to service planning across Germany;
- Analysing, structuring and continuously improving existing planning and coordination processes;
- Following up on and documenting service assignments, and preparing them for invoicing;
- Contacting customers by phone after completed service assignments to discuss identified defects and the measures required;
- Preparing and sending quotations to rectify defects identified during service assignments;
- Systematically tracking outstanding quotations and following up by phone to support order conversion;
- Conducting customer satisfaction surveys after completed service assignments, and documenting and forwarding relevant feedback.
Your profile
- You have completed commercial or business-related vocational training, or have comparable practical experience;
- Experience in workforce, service or resource planning is an advantage; however, we also welcome highly organised candidates who are keen to develop their skills in this area;
- A structured and solution-oriented approach to work;
- The ability to maintain an overview even when plans change at short notice;
- Strong communication skills;
- Confidence in using digital planning tools;
- Very good German language skills;
- English language skills are desirable.
